aight, maids start off needing their hand held with their aspect, then when they get comfortable with it, they can go on to soar far beyond originally expected. theyre the underdog, so to speak. you can talk shit bout them all you want, but given time, they can show you what for a million times over. maids make wonderful friends imo. heart is emotion, both good and bad, bias, and throw in a dash of identity issues for good measure. we get a very good descrip of it from dirk using his prince of heart powers to destroy someones heart (soul in this case), and it speaks vo lUM E S. it tells us intimately what heart is in the homestuck universe. heart is the soul, the very essence of the person. its astounding to me, but, of course, thats just my opinion. i can point out the amazing points of every aspect all day long because im gay and have too much time to hyperfixate on things, but not enough to work on this blog a lot of the time.
now, a maid of heart starts off needing help in knowing who to love, who to hate, who to trust, all that jazz. the “who to trust” bit is a bit counterproductive to begin with because theyre trusting of everyone on the “who do i fucking love/hate in this shitshow??????????????” thing, but again, give them time for them to soar far beyond.
most people would look at this maid and think “good GOD, this chump theyre so fucking naive” and they wouldnt be too far off from right, hate to say it @ any maids of heart who may be reading this. when yall first started growing up, you were naive and dumb as shit.
¯_(ツ)_/¯ yall have most likely made a lot of progress though! so, youve got that to look at and say “nice” at. maids tend to make leaps and BOUNDS in their change. give a maid a year and theyre a completely different person. complete 180, new person all together and for the better because theyre way more outspoken about how they feel. they no longer hold on to mamas coattails and whimper behind her. they out and about, making sure everyone remembers who they are and remembers them how they WANT to be remembered. i can see a sylph of heart being on this chart.
theyre all or nothing on it, no middle spot for them, they always all the way. they may be on the far corner like
this. you get what im talking about. they go all the fuck out in their expressing themself is the point. it is in your face and its wonderful cause they are so fucking confident.
theyre journey of realizing that they know enough about heart to make decisions is just a matter of listening to themself and realizing “hey, i say the same shit that all these other people say! sometimes BEFORE they even say it!! im good at this! i should listen to myself more!” and badabing babadook, there ya have it. its just a matter of this person sitting down and thinking and listening to themself for a minute. deep shit, i know. advice we all need to take sometimes.
