I’m a big advocate that we should bring back the idea “Nightblogging”, unlike the nasty word “shitposting” it has no cursing in it, it goes back to a better time in the history of the world and tumblr, and it reaffirms the idea that at nighttime the logic of the world turns apart into a shadow realm dominated by wild animals and mystery beings and crazy jokes, which is true but we forgot about it

So apparently last year the National Park Service in the US dropped an over 1200 page study of LGBTQ American History as part of their Who We Are program which includes studies on African-American history, Latino history, and Indigenous history. 

Like. This is awesome. But also it feels very surreal that maybe one of the most comprehensive examinations of LGBTQ history in America (it covers sports! art! race! historical sites! health! cities!) was just casually done by the parks service.

I think we’d all really appreciate if you signal boost content that explains all of this. We need help! There are more people in California than in all of Canada, but we still need to fight off big corporations like Bell, Shaw, Rogers, Telus and Cineplex, who are trying to steal our net neutrality. The likelihood that this goes through has nothing to do with it, we need to show our government that THIS ISN’T OKAY. THAT WE CARE ABOUT OUR NET NEUTRALITY! C’MON!

u can always tell when someones writing a fic about siblings and they dont have any of their own because theyre not constantly calling each other “lil bitch” or telling the other that theyre adopted

if you’re writing a fic about siblings and the other doesn’t try to annoy the one with the intent of nearly being killed youre doing it wrong. siblings are for irritating but also for loving and if you’re going to write a fic about siblings please understand that siblings are just practice for when you have an archnemisis

here’s a hot take: giftwrap is dumb, 95% of the time you can just hand someone the thing and accomplish the same task. Society has conditioned us to love wrapping shit up for no reason, probably by gift wrap industry people.
