For those of you who have difficulty reading colored text, @new-xkit-extension​ has an extension that disables it.

It’s under the extension AccessKit, and I believe it should be enabled by default so you shouldn’t need to tweak the settings. 

Enabled:

[a post on the dashboard with colorless text]

Disabled:

[a post on the dashboard with red colored text]

I’ve also heard that mobile doesn’t display colors as well, so that’s an option too.
