the story goes that after they finished shooting justice league, henry cavill grew a mustache for some other movie he’s going in, and they told him “you are NOT allowed to shave your mustache until we are done filming this movie.” but, something happened and they had to do a bunch of reshoots for justice league with joss whedon at the same time.. and for whatever reason, they decided the best thing to do was to just digitally remove his mustache. and here we are
I’m really glad that KC Green’s work is being more widely recognized after the whole “This is not fine” comic came out.
He’s been in the comic making game for a really long time and he has…a bit of a knack for creating things that are used as reaction images and never credited back to him.
He’s a really cool guy and a great artist and I HIGHLY recommend following his work.

People that get invested in fiction and examine fictional lore need to learn how to tell the difference between which lore is actually important to the series and which lore is an excuse for something.
If Dwarven women are capable of growing beards, but have cultural reasons not to, that is an excuse that they made not to give them beards.
If a female character can only wear skimpy clothing for some given reason, that is an excuse to sexualize her.
If an organization can only be populated men, that is often an excuse to not have to create female characters.
Its all made up. It isn’t a foundation of the universe that they can’t control. They wrote it to be like that.
imagine living on earth c and you’re walking your dog and you look up to see god drifting through the sky on a jpeggy skateboard and you give him a thumbs up and you can just see him return it with a subtle, unbelievably cool nod
imagine youre a 40-something accountant living on earth c and this 16 year old kid is one of your long awaited gods and you just have to deal with it when he ollies off the side of your firm on his shitty jpeggy skateboard and chips the paint, causing your firms stock price to plummet because said 16 year old god intentionally fucked up the economy as an ironic social statement
