they,, they finally removed the ‘in progress’

viz putting a link to the HS subreddit on the website and then removing it after a couple of hours is, in my opinion, grounds for a nobel prize of peace nomination

this combined with cohens dersecest answer being changed to spades/snowman (either by cohen himself in a last-ditch effort to save his job and reputation, or by vizs pr team who realized what a fucking minefield it was) is definitely the highlight of today

So to elaborate on what we know about the current status:

Last week Poinko and James Roach “finished”.

At some point this week, POSSIBLY last night, Cohen changed his twitter from “makes hiveswap” to “made hiveswap”

The website was (sloppily) edited yesterday and the following was done:

News section was removed

The Press section, which included information about whatpumpkin, was stripped of it all

The whatpumpkin copyright at the bottom of the website was removed

The whatpumpkin icon in the Merch button was removed

It seems to me like Whatpumpkin is being stripped from their own website.

Jesus christ. Is the game moving devlopment AGAIN? Or is this something to do with copyright, now that Viz has rights? But why would Viz want to remove ALL REFERENCES to Whatpumpkin if they were still producing the game?

Not to mention, the Comics Contest winners for last night were announced several hours later than any other week…. yeah Poinko’s not around, but it’s still weird.

I think it’s high time there’s some kind of anouncement…?
