we know that xefros is about to learn all this new stuff about relationships that dont suck and how people should treat you from joey. He never got that from dammek. who he’s known and trusted for a very very long time. everything he knew in that area is gonna be flipped on its head and essentially completely destroyed.
compare: gamzee, learning that his clown religion, everything he ever knew and also something he believed in very strongly, was nothing but a joke in the universe he created. everything he believed in and all his thoughts about the future were completely gone. i thought gamzee was the one (1) good fictional clown when i first started reading homestuck, and actually liked him quite a lot.
maybe this says something about the Rage aspect and some form of betrayal???? xefros as a bard of hope 2k17
