A warning to autistic people who browse #ActuallyAutistic on Twitter

At the time of writing, the hashtag is currently being taken over by neurotypical anti-vaxxers (those who believe that vaccines cause autism) and people claiming that #ActuallyAutistic is a “scam” who are being incredibly ableist and rude to autistic people on Twitter.

If you get extremely offended by stuff like that, I would highly suggest to AVOID the hashtag for a while. We don’t know how long this is going to last, but it’s probably best to stay away.
If you want to fight back, be careful! A lot of them are being extremely rude.

Please spread the word, whether you’re autistic or not!
