Although we hadn’t spoken for months, the conversations I had with Kips will always have a place in my heart. Kips gave me so much confidence in my art and I can’t ever express how much their words of encouragement meant to me.

Kips’ physical presence on this Earth may be gone now but the memory of them will be forever treasured, along with the art they created. 

We may not have ever met, despite hoping we could one day, but I’m just so glad to have existed at the same time as them and to have the honour of interacting with their vibrant, strong and overwhelmingly kind soul.

I really hope you knew in your final moments what incredible impact you had on me and so many other people.
