For those who are mobility challenged/cannot/and do not for whatever reason head outside of their home all the time to play Pokemon Go
Oh, this is so nice. ❤ Thank you.
I finally got Pokemon Go to work, and then… yeah. Spoonies don’t leave the house much. I figured the game isn’t really for me. (Also, no cell phone data/G’s. Just WiFi.) Really cool to know I can still sort of play and enjoy, even if it’s not in the same way most other people can. (Story of disabled life, ha.) Still nice.
If you tweet please check out the #PokemonGoGently tag it’s for spoonies who play.

Here’s another blog post with more tips !!
(although I think naming your eevees probably doesn’t affect their evolution)
Pokemon Go doesn’t have an extended map, but if you want to know where pokestops are before you leave the house you can use the Ingress app. Ingress Portals (grey/green/blue circles on the map) almost always line up with pokestops or gyms. This way you can plan to visit stops with wifi, air conditioning, or good seating.
Stops also reset every 5-10 minutes, so you can find a convenient stop and refill as many items as you need without moving. Some stops are right on top of each other as well, so you can get double the items by just sitting. (stops give poke balls, eggs, berries, potions and revives)
I imagine a couple hours would net enough eggs and items for at least a week, so the trips don’t need to be all that frequent either.
The game is still has a lot of freezing and server issues, so prepare for that to mess with your plans.
