hi guys. So, as many of you know, or have seen in recent pictures, I live in a relatively volatile household. I have received numerous injuries at the hands of every person in my immediate family besides my youngest brother (bless his little heart). Alongside the violence in my family, they are also very… un-accepting of my ideals and my “lifestyle choices” as they put it. I love them very very much, but it is so hard for me to be around them without major anxiety and at least one injury every time I go home. Currently, I am trying to save enough money to go visit my boyfriend and his wonderful, supportive family in England at Christmas, so I don’t have to go home to my family and extended family who are just as bad. Last Christmas, I got into a huge fight with my uncle and grandfather and ended up hiding in the bathroom while they tried to break down the door. I had to call a friend to come and get me and spent the next six days with him until my family left town.
I had to quit my job to go home for the summer, and my mother won’t let me get another job until I go back to school in the Fall. I will be living in an apartment at that point, and paying a lot of my own living expenses. I probably won’t be able to save enough in time to see my boyfriend at Christmas.
